Canon AS-6

Just picked up my new Canon AS-6 (AKA ‘Aqua Snappy’) today and I love it so much already. It’s a 35mm point and shoot that can withstand underwater use of up to 10 meters and its YELLOW!

I’m going to use it to take some snaps whilst out in the water and it couldn’t have come at a better time as the surf looks like its going to be pretty good for the next few days on the East Coast… Perfect!

I will be heading up the coast tomorrow to find some waves shoot as much film as possible.

Here are some of my film photos from a previous trip to Thurso with David Finlayson - I’ve been looking at these and some photos still from the Globe surf movie ‘Strange Rumblings In Shangri La’ for some inspiration!

Fingers crossed the camera actually works!
