Scottish Freestyle Championships 2015
April 23, 2015With the recent milder weather it looks a like that is the 14/15 winter season is coming to an end. So I thought this would be a good time to post some of my favorites from the Snowsport Scotland Scottish Freestyle Championships.
It was an epic day - perfect weather, great atmosphere and a great show put on by the competitors.
(I was pretty jealous that I was working and didn’t get to ride the park!)
I was taking photos for the day and working alongside Joe hart - who was doing video - which was a pleasure as always. Going into shooting this event I had some ideas for what I wanted to do, I wanted a sequence shot and I wanted to get some more unusual angles using a much longer zoom than usual.
I love the photos through the fence and I think it works well to frame the action and gives the image a uniquely Scottish element.
This is probably my favorite photo I took from the day.
